No Time to Workout?

She obviously found some time to workout...

One of the things I run across often when speaking to people about fitness, is the lack of time they have to commit to it.  Work schedules and children rank as the top 2 reasons for the lack of time.  I understand.  But here at Fitman Performance Training, I know that you do not need all day to train.  For this routine, you do not even need to leave your home.  I'm going to present to you an effective, fast-paced, 20 minute workout that is much better burning for bodyfat than hopping on the treadmill for that long hour.  Did I mention this only takes 20 minutes?
(Minus the warm-up)

The Workout:

5-10 mins:  Dynamic Warm Up.  This can include jumping jacks, crawl downs, bodyweight squats, etc.  So I want you to do 10 jumping jacks, followed by 5 crawls downs (crawl down to the floor and crawl up), followed by 10 bodyweight squats...Repeat this warm-up circuit 3-6 times through until you have broken a light sweat and feel warm.

20 minutes:  You will repeat 4 movements...each move will receive 5 reps...Squat Thrust...Push Up...Squat Jump...Twisting Push Up.  Your goal is to complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes.  Record your rounds, and try to get more rounds the next time you do the workout.  Also, you can add reps on to the workout too...so eventually go to 6, 8, 10, etc.

This is a very basic routine to cover your basic fitness needs.  It is much more effective than the generic treadmill routine everyone seems to do.  (Speaking of which, have you ever seen anyone on a treadmill who looked physically fit?)  Enjoy this routine and leave comments on how it worked out for you!
