  5. Preparation.  Walking into a mission with no plan equals failure.  Have your program written down and follow it.
  6. Desire.  In order to get to a goal you have to want it.  Bad.  The desire to get into top, physical condition has to burn wildly.
  7. Patience.  Have you ever met someone who never exercised get to the Next Level of Fitness in mere months?  That person does not exist.  Exercise patience in your quest for being fit, or you will be disappointed.  This is a marathon, not a sprint.
  8. Faith.  Believe in yourself.  Do not let negative influences get your spirit down.
  9. Heart.  Having the heart of a champion will make any obstacle seem obtainable.
  10. Variation.  Do not let your training program become mundane.  Change it every 4-6 weeks to keep your mind fresh on a new goal.
  11.  Reality.  Being out of shape for a long time does not mean you should expect to be in top physical shape in a short time.  Miracles supplements will not make you better in mere months.  With the application of the above principles, you will get to the mountaintop in time.
  12.  Hard Work.  This cannot be replaced.  This cannot be ignored.  Without working hard, you can never challenge your body to reach its full potential.
  13.  Education.  Read and explore the world of fitness.  It is deeper than just working out.  Learn about your body.
  14. Discipline.  Approach your nutrition and training schedule with great discipline.  Do not let the temptation to eat bad, or skip training days ruin your progress.  Stay on the narrow road to top fitness.
